DSC 267R: Data Fairness and Ethics

(Prereq. DSC 208R)

Examination of the inevitable ethical questions and issues that arise in all stages of data science, including issues of privacy, bias, and trust. Basic familiarity with the conceptual and mathematical tools that can be used both to recognize and address ethical issues as they arise in real-world practice.
